The operator release: money, phones, and playbooks

Waveguide now works the two front doors of a small business — the phone and the money — and ships playbooks so a first mission starts from something proven, not a blank box.

Get paid

  • Stripe actions on your own account: chase overdue invoices, retry failed payments, send payment links, pause (instead of losing) subscriptions
  • Chargeback defense: a new dispute wakes the agent, which assembles the evidence and drafts the response in Stripe before the deadline
  • Refunds and credits are always yours to approve — money never leaves your account without you

Answer every call

  • AI receptionist: provision a phone number with a persona for your business; every call becomes a captured lead, a booked slot, and a confirmation text
  • Call mining: transcripts are checked for the quote request nobody logged and the callback nobody calendared
  • Caller speech is treated as untrusted input end to end — quarantined before it can influence any action

New tools in the catalog

  • Dropbox Sign (e-signatures), Google Business Profile (reviews, hours, posts), QuickBooks Online (AR aging, invoices), and Jobber (field-service jobs and quotes)
  • Connected tools now wake the agent: vendor webhooks fire instantly, and push-less signals (like new Google reviews) are polled with delta detection
  • Free weather signals for schedule-aware playbooks — the reschedule texts go out two days before the storm

Playbooks

  • One-click mission templates matched to your industry: fill an open shift, speed-to-lead, no-show recovery, maintenance dispatch, review generation, invoice chasing, and more

Safety

  • Every executed action now records its undo path in the activity feed — or says honestly that there isn’t one

Waveguide launch

The first public release of Waveguide — the agent runtime for your growth loop.

The agent

  • Always-on agent per tenant, running in an isolated sandbox with default-deny networking
  • Wakes on real signals: lead arrivals, email replies, calendar changes, campaign webhooks, scheduled digests
  • Multi-model routing: fast model for triage and digests, flagship model for real work, heavyweight escalation on Growth and Scale
  • Customizable persona (SOUL.md) seeded from your onboarding answers

Connections and channels

  • Gmail, Google Calendar, Meta Ads, and Stripe connections — one OAuth click each, tokens vaulted
  • Slack, Telegram, and email as reporting and approval channels
  • Tools via MCP: curated catalog (Apollo, Hunter, Firecrawl, Instantly, Mailchimp, Ayrshare, wavetable) plus any MCP server by URL, with risk classification and tool-poisoning scans

Missions

  • Goal-driven outreach: state a goal, approve the mission brief, watch the funnel
  • Four autonomy levels, per-mission budgets, dry-run mode
  • Email, social, voice (with consent gates and AI disclosure), and Google Meet attendance
  • Suppression lists, jurisdiction rules, and cross-mission frequency caps

Safety

  • T0–T3 risk tiers enforced in the egress proxy; T3 always requires a human
  • Quarantine for untrusted content with taint tracking into approvals
  • Anomaly auto-pause, the 80/100/120 budget ladder, and the kill switch
  • Full audit trail with one-click export; self-serve tenant deletion

Billing

  • Self-serve signup with a 14-day free trial
  • Metered AI usage with live spend visibility and automatic guardrails
