Why Waveguide exists

Every small business runs the same loop: attract attention, capture leads, answer them fast, learn what worked, do more of it. The loop isn't hard — it's relentless. It runs at 8am and 11pm, on weekends, while you're doing the actual job your business exists to do.

Software promised to help and mostly added dashboards. AI tools promised to help and mostly added chat windows. The missing piece was never intelligence — it was an operator: something that watches the signals, does the work, keeps the records, and knows which decisions belong to you.

That's Waveguide. It's the agent, the security boundary, and the system of record in one layer. The Wave products — ads, creative, pages, content, social — are the tools; Waveguide is what makes them play as one instrument. And because giving an AI agent your inbox and ad accounts is a real trust decision, we built the safety in at the architecture level, where it can't be talked out of.

An agent limited to a script catalog fails the moment your business needs something specific. Ours writes and runs code, so the odd, particular things — the ones that actually matter to a small business — get done too.

Security by architecture, not promise

We don't ask you to trust that a prompt will hold. The model never touches a credential, every action passes a guarded proxy, and irreversible operations require a signed human approval the model cannot forge. These are checkable properties of the system, not policies.

Humans own the consequences

Anything financial or irreversible waits for a person. Autonomy is a dial you turn as trust builds, and the dial never reaches “spend my money without asking.”

Honest economics

Metered to the cent, guardrails at 80/100/120%, and a hard stop that bounds your worst-case month. If the numbers ever surprise you, we've failed at something we consider core product.
